UTTAR PRADESH IN THE 2014 NATIONAL ELECTION

The last election to the Indian parliament took place in 2014. If we break down those seats into regions corresponding to seats in the state legislature, we get a more up-to-date idea of the public support for different parties. On that basis, the BJP, or the Bharatiya Janta Party, won 328 out of 403 potential seats.
