PUNJAB IN THE 2014 NATIONAL ELECTION

The most significant development for the state of Punjab in the last national election in 2014 was the rise of the AAP (Aam Aadmi Party). If the results of that election were divided between state legislature constituencies, we see that the AAP had won 33 out of 117 potential seats. And that is impressive for a party that had only come into existence in 2012.
