MANIPUR IN THE 2012 STATE ELECTION

The INC (Indian National Congress) won an outright majority in the last election to Manipur's state legislature in 2012. It won 42 out of 60 seats with other seats going to regional parties such as the NPF (Naga Peoples Front). The NPF won four seats in the northern regions of Senapati and Ukhrul and the southern region of Chandel.
